WHAT I'VE LEARNED SO FAR IN MY LIFE:

Trust your insticts. They're right more than anyone gives them credit for.

If you feel one way for someone, chances are they feel the same way about you.

Don't believe everything people tell you. The majority of the time someone is exaggerating, or they're just all talk.

Keep a journal or a diary to write about what's going on in your life, what's going through your head and how you're feeling at the moment. Especially if you feel you can't talk to anyone else about it. It really will help and it's fun to look back on it in years to come.

Live in the moment, but also know what you want in the future. Don't do or not do anything now that you'll regret 2, 5, 10 years down the road.

Don't be afraid to make mistakes or embarrass yourself. People won't remember it in an hour anyway.

Be yourself, it's a lot easier than trying to be something you're not.

The less you're trying to be popular and have a lot of friends, the more likely that will actually happen.

Don't limit yourself to only buying brand name clothes. You can get 5 cute non-brand name shirts for the same price as 1 brand name shirt. And to tell you the truth, people care a lot less about what brands you're wearing than you think they do.

Don't plan out every detail of your life and what'll happen in the future. Take things as they come. That way, if and when they don't work out, you won't be disappointed.

Don't let people push you around and tell you what to do. Do things for yourself that will make you happy, not them.

Remember that things happen for a reason. If something terrible happens to you, don't ask "Why me?" just think that this happened for a reason and no matter how bad it seems, you'll eventually find out why it happened and be grateful it did.

What goes around comes around. Do favors for people and help them out, because soon you'll need favors and help, and if you don't do anything for anyone, they won't do anything for you.

Write down any worries you currently have and put them in a box. In a week, open the box and read what you wrote. Chances are, you aren't worrying about those anymore. Don't sweat the small stuff.

No matter how bad things are, they can either get worse, or they can get better. If they get worse, just be patient and everything will work out.

Don't procrastinate. It's easier to just things done with right away and you'll be happy that you got it done.

Sometimes, the people you become the best of friends with are the people you thought you hated the most.

Don't doubt yourself. If you honestly want something and work towards it, there's a good chance you'll get it.
